Unrivalled Expertise in Remote Veterinary Pathology

“ We seamlessly convert any veterinary laboratory into a centre of excellence for veterinary pathology”

Global Vetnostics (GV) provides histo pathology and cytology services to veterinary laboratories “remotely”, through the use of advanced computer technology. We install the equipment, train your staff how to use it, provide overnight reading and interpretation services while providing you and your clients 24 hour access to our team of Board Certified pathologists.

When a laboratory aligns itself with GV it becomes a profitable state of the art pathology processing facility. GV accomplishes this through its application of advanced optical and computerized ScanScope® equipment provided by its strategic partner Aperio Technologies Inc.

What this means to your laboratory -

1. Histo pathology at your veterinary laboratory becomes a profit center and not a loss leader
2. Your laboratory provides a better service to your veterinary client
3. GV reads and interprets slides quickly, accurately and consistently, providing a Board Certified pathologist's report with each sample your laboratory processes
4. Your laboratory maintains control of the sample at all times because the sample never leaves your premises
5. GV seamlessly integrates its services into your laboratory and your clients view this as part of the local laboratory service that you provide to them
6. Your veterinary laboratory gains access to a pathologist when one is needed and does not have to pay for one unless services are actually used

From your laboratory’s perspective, to use a travel simile it's a bit like having 24 hour access to a Leer jet only without the need to plan in advance and with no payment until you actually go somewhere.

Global Vetnostics , (GV) specializes in “remote” histo-pathology, which makes up the core of its veterinary diagnostic consulting services business. The company located in Prince Edward Island, Canada, with its staff of pathologists and associates reads, interprets and reports on pathology samples from all parts of the globe using advanced computer technology.

GV's main customers are veterinary laboratories that do not have a qualified pathologist on staff and which currently send out cytology and histo pathology work to other facilities.

A pathology slide, prepared to GV's specifications in a remote laboratory anywhere in the world can be digitized and transferred electronically to GV's pathology hub where it is read and interpreted. The final report is usually returned to the submitting laboratory within a twelve-hour period. In this way GV provides the services of a laboratory's own “in house” pathologist, saving the laboratory time and expense and providing the laboratory with consistent results without the associated overhead.
